Why can’t a trip to the eye doctor be fun? When our client said she wanted an optometrist's office that didn't feel like an optometrist's office. we took a fresh look at the design brief and blurred the boundaries between luxury retail, medical office and wellness.
The design packs a lot of punch in a compact 745 SF footprint. In a small space, there isn’t room for a lot of fluff. A high gloss display wall guides movement through the space and creates a seamless transition from retail display to treatment and examination rooms. The entry wall is all about tactility with a matte fluted surface that extends the length of the space and into the treatment and exam rooms.
The result is an optical boutique that makes the trip feel less like a medical appointment and more like an immersive journey to a space where you just happen to leave with a better prescription.
